Project Recovery

Do you have a project that is going to fail or has already failed? We can help. Our team can come in and evaluate the situation and see what it takes to put the process back on track. Some times this means fully taking over the project. Other times we are able to get by with a more limited role.

We can get people working on any projects quickly.

Project Rescue

Is your project in trouble? Are you unsure of how to proceed? We've been involved in many projects and have seen many types of development errors. Our site analysts are good at recognizing problems early. It is an unfortunate reality that most problems in software development projects remain unnoticed or uncorrected until they become so obvious and expensive that they can't be missed.

It doesn't have to be this way. Careful reviews at each stage of a project can uncover serious problems before they become very expensive to fix. Our Project Assessment and Rescue service can help identify problems that are just waiting to be headaches. And if you have already identified obstacles, we can help overcome them quickly.

How does it work? We spend time talking with members of your development team and examining your methodologies and design. After analyzing your project, we prepare a report that details what we've learned and makes recommendations. In our recommendations, we detail areas of risk that we observed in your project and adjustments you can make to help alleviate those risks. If there are existing problems, we make recommendations for how those problems can be fixed.

It's never too early to review your project. In fact, the earlier in the project problems are detected the less expensive they are to fix. You should plan a review at each stage of a project's progress. At a minimum, a review should be done following requirements analysis, then following specification writing and following the completion of the design. Our project assessment can serve as a valuable first step in instituting proper reviews.

There is particular value in having an outside organization evaluate your project. It is often the case that people involved in a project, whether technical or management, can become too close to the day-to-day operations to be able to objectively evaluate how well the project is proceeding. We can be objective. It is not our goal to find fault with people but rather to arm you with the information you need to correct the course of your project.

Our On Site or Remotely Project Assessment and Rescue service costs only $800 per day! Once you receive our follow up report with recommendations, you are free to act on those recommendations any way you choose and implement those recommendations any way you see fit.
