Job Description:
This position’s candidate should be experienced enough in the field of the Internet to perform the following tasks/errands on a day-to-day basis:
The candidate will be taking full care on a daily basis for an existing large-scale web property by content monitoring, content publishing, content editing, content controlling, content improving, performing an optimization for the purpose of search engines, and actively seeking relationship with other industry relevant sites for different type of partnerships in an effort to enhance the position and brand awareness of the web properties under management. Performing regular submissions, doing basic marketing activities of the site as well as performing basic customer service activities by replying with an email to regular inquiries/questions are other daily obligations of the candidate for the position opened.
Job Requirements:
- Due to the fact the web properties to be taking care of are leading Export/Import and International Trading Industry sites on the web, basic knowledge of the fundamentals of the industry is required;
- Computer skills;
- Very good command in written and basic spoken English is required for the position;
- Understanding of the Internet basics (at least 2 years experience over internet/web) and basic practical experience with an HTML/ WYSIWYG editor (MS FrontPage, Macromedia UltraDev) is required;
- Basics of web design and development will be considered as an advantage;
- PHP/MySQL practical skills will also be considered as an advantage;
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment as well as ability to accomplish tasks on time;
- Ability to attend unconventional work hours;
