Job Description:
This position’s candidate should be experienced enough in the field of the open source development/coding and programming to perform the following tasks/errands on a day-to-day basis:
The candidate will be taking full care on a daily basis for an existing large-scale web property by
technically supporting all web properties under management, architecting, designing and structuring modules, features and entire web sites from scratch and up, web site performance monitoring and controlling, web site improvement, developing and deploying new modules, features, extras and entire web sites, editing/updating/improving existing web site scripts, programs and technologies used, performing an optimization for the purpose of search engines and the general usability of the sites, and actively researching over the new standards employed over internet and web as to keep the web sites’ leading positions,
Job Requirements:
A web developer having knowledge and experience in the following technologies is needed:
- 3+ years professional experience Linux/UNIX environment;
- 3+ years of PHP practical experience is necessary;
- 3+ years of MySQL practical experience is also necessary;
- Team work experience;
- Ability to show/present links to projects;
- Very good command in written and basic spoken English is required for the position;
- Deeply understanding of the Internet fundamentals (at least 5 years experience over internet/web) is required;
- Web design skills will be considered as an advantage;
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment as well as ability to accomplish tasks on time;
- Ability to attend unconventional work hours;
